Good article on Little House

 I usually dislike anything the government is involved with (ha ha!) but this article from the National Endowment for the Humanities is actually very good: "Reading Laura Ingalls Wilder Is Not the Same When You're a Parent."  Even the title gave me pause - I thought it was gonna go into complaining about the descriptions of indians and minstrel shows - but it's great.

Also, I bought this book, "Pioneer Girl: The Annotated Autobiography of Laura Ingalls Wilder," and when I get a chance to read it I'll let you know what I think. I'm excited already, it has tons of photos!
